Tolly Group's Evaluation of NES/COS System Scalability

The Tolly Group’s test of our NES Smart Metering System with Control Operating System (COS) software simulated data collection for services such as time-of-use pricing, net and/or prepay metering, and load profiling for 5 million meters.

Digital meters that provide accurate reads are not the same as a smart grid solution.

The test confirmed the System easily provided high data throughput, demonstrating that it can also support smart grid applications.

The Test

The world renowned network testing organization, Tolly Group, conducted rigorous testing for North American and European environments to demonstrate the system's scalability, reliability, and accuracy while transmitting metering data 4 times per hour from 5 million meters.
