Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Ron Sege has served as a Director, President, and Chief Executive Officer of the company since August 2010, and has been Chairman of the Board of Directors since October 2011. He has also been a Board member of the Silicon Valley Leadership Group and Ubiquiti Networks since 2012. Before Echelon, he served as President, Chief Operating Officer, and Board member of 3Com Corporation from 2008 through its acquisition by Hewlett Packard. Earlier, Ron was President and Chief Executive Officer of Tropos Networks, President and Chief Executive Officer of Ellacoya Networks, and Executive Vice President of Lycos. Ron holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a bachelor's degree in economics from Pomona College.
Vice President of Operations and Planning
Chris Jodoin is responsible for global product operations including direct responsibility over sales operations and financial planning. An experienced executive, Chris brings over 20 years of experience in sales operations and financial management with proven results. Chris’ previous positions include Vice President of Integration at InVentiv Health, Vice President of Global Sales Operations at Hewlett Packard, and Vice President of Finance and Sales Operations at 3Com Corporation. Chris holds an MBA from Northeastern University and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Boston College.
C. Michael Marszewski
Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Mike Marszewski has been with the company since 1999. He has served in a variety of financial positions and played important roles in strategic projects including acquisitions, divestitures, and private placement of securities. Prior to joining Echelon, Mike was Divisional Controller at Stanford Telecommunications, which was acquired by Newbridge Networks. He was also a senior tax accountant at National Semiconductor. He earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Santa Clara University.
Chief Technology Officer
Sohrab Modi is responsible for leading Echelon’s Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) technical strategy. An experienced technical executive, Sohrab held Vice President and Chief Technology Officer roles at both Huawei and Sun Microsystems. At Huawei, he led technical strategy and planning for Internet of Things (IoT), machine-to-machine (M2M), cloud, big data, software-defined networking (SDN), and other initiatives. At Sun Microsystems, he explored new business and technology opportunities for the company and was Vice President and General Manager for N1 Systems, an early cloud computing offering. He earned a master’s degree in computer science from Rochester Institute of Technology and a bachelor’s degree in physics from the University of Mumbai.
General Counsel, Senior Vice President and Secretary to the Board
Alicia Moore brings extensive experience serving as inside and outside General Counsel at public and private technology companies across a variety of industries. Before Echelon, she provided independent strategic legal advice to a number of clients. Prior to that, Alicia served as Vice President of Business Development, General Counsel, and Secretary for Extreme Networks. She also held the Vice President General Counsel roles at AristaSoft Corporation and Adaptec, and served on the Board of Directors for Women's Capital Corporation. Alicia holds a Juris Doctor degree from the UCLA School of Law and a bachelor’s degree in political science from Stanford University.
Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales
Rick Schuett is responsible for leading Echelon's global sales teams in the lighting and embedded systems business. A seasoned executive, Rick brings over 20 years of experience across sales, product, and business development functions. Prior to Echelon, Rick has held numerous positions including Vice President of Energy Information Solutions at Nxegen, Chief Commercial Officer at Autani Corporation, Vice President of Global Sales at Encelium Technologies, President and Chief Executive Officer at Sol Inc., and Vice President of New Business Development and General Manager at Lutron Electronics. Rick earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
