Echelon’s Solutions Partner Program Adds New Members to Provide Energy Efficiency Systems

(Frankfurt, Germany - April 13, 2010) - Echelon Corporation (NASDAQ: ELON) today announced new members of its Solutions Partner Program, a global channel of partners providing energy management and operations management solutions using Echelon’s LonWorks® control networking technology to busi¬nesses and public entities that own and operate multiple facilities. The announcement was made today at the 2010 Light+Building event in Frankfurt, Germany, http://light-building.messefrankfurt.com/.

Echelon’s LonWorks technology brings energy awareness to everyday devices and is used in energy management applications worldwide including remotely controlled streetlight systems, automated demand response systems and building automation systems.

LonWorks based solutions offer a single, highly configurable system that can be tightly integrated with energy-consuming assets or easily retrofitted to existing equipment. A key component of these solutions is Echelon’s family of smart energy managers, the i.LON® SmartServers.

Members of Echelon’s Solution Partner Program include:

  • aSAY: An IT integrator specializing in solution design and installation, and 24/7 monitoring center for IT equipment, aSAY will focus on enterprise energy management (EEM) for supermarkets, telecom operators, banks, and streetlight solutions in Turkey. www.asay.com.tr/
  • Control Technologies, Inc.: CTI is one of the largest systems integrators in New England, Los Angeles, and the New York City metro area, providing clients with LonWorks based facility automation solutions, multi-site facilities management, and energy and operational costs reduction. www.controltechinc.com
  • Diversified Power Solutions: Diversified Power Solution supplies, installs and services energy efficiency solutions based on LonWorks technology for national restaurant and supermarket chains, and government and military projects. www.diversifiedpower.com
  • ENE Systems: ENE is the largest system integrator in Eastern New England in partnership with Schneider Electric to provide LonWorks enabled building automation and energy efficiency solutions to hospitals, schools, financial institutions, as well as biotech and research facilities. www.enesystems.com
  • Guangdong Rongwen Lighting Co., Ltd.: One of the largest streetlight companies in southern China, Rongwen manufactures LonWorks enabled HPS streetlights and ballasts. They also install and maintain streetlight systems.
  • Korea Computer Inc.: KCI is a leading supplier of banking terminals for the banking industry and is also a large electronics manufacturer.   • Unitronics Comunicaciones, S.A.: Unitronics is a leader in the Spanish IT and communications market, and will provide LonWorks enabled building automation and enterprise energy management solutions for several key markets, including banks, service stations, retail chains, public lighting and homes. www.unitronics.es.
