The first product, a lamp dimmer module priced at $33.80 each, uses Echelon Corporation's (NASDAQ: ELON) PLT-22 Power Line Transceiver to control lights and other dimmer modules by communicating over a home's power wiring. Halensmart will be exhibiting the products at LonWorld 2001 in Frankfurt, Germany beginning October 23rd.
