Echelon Corporation to Hold Analyst Call on November 26, 2001

To Comply with Federal Regulation FD, Echelon is Providing Notice of Previously Announced Inter-Quarter Conference Call

(SAN JOSE, CA - November 16, 2001) - Echelon Corporation (NASDAQ: ELON) will be holding an inter-quarter conference call for investors and analysts on November 26, 2001 at 2:00 pm PST. Echelon is now holding inter-quarter conference calls each quarter to update investors and analysts about Echelon. This announcement is being sent out to comply with Federal Regulation FD.
