(Sunnyvale, CA - August 28, 2001) - Echelon Corporation (NASDAQ: ELON) will be holding an inter-quarter conference call for investors and analysts on September 6, 2001 at 1:30 pm PDT. Echelon is now holding inter-quarter conference calls each quarter to update investors and analysts about Echelon. This announcement is being sent out to comply with Federal Regulation FD.
