Echelon Kicks Off LonWorld™ 2002 Exhibition and Conference Devoted to the LonWorks® Networking Platform(TORONTO, CANADA – October 31, 2002) Echelon Corporation (NASDAQ: ELON), creator of the LonWorks® platform for connecting everyday devices to each other and the Internet, kicks off the two day LonWorld™ 2002 Exhibition and Conference being held in Toronto, Ontario Canada starting today. Kenneth Oshman will deliver the opening keynote address followed by Scott Burroughs, worldwide Commercial Segment Manager for Device Solutions for IBM's Pervasive Computing Division.
