NES Data Concentrators

Data concentrators manage devices on the power line network and provide the connectivity infrastructure between meters and NES System Software.
- Manages up to 1,024 NES meters and 4,096 associated M-Bus devices
- Collects and reports meter data, including consumption and power quality
- Can be installed at any point in the ANSI or IEC low-voltage network topology, including co-location behind IEC poly-phase, transformer-operated, and single-phase meters, to allow minimal installation costs
- Communicates with NES System Software using any IP-capable network, whether it's wired or wireless, public or private, wide area or local area, including traditional analog telephone service
- Supports end-to-end data encryption to secure metering data and ensure customer privacy
- Internal modem bay accepts and powers standard wired and wireless modems (DC-1000/SL)
- 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX Ethernet with 2 meter Ethernet cable (DC-1000/SLE)
- Plastic enclosure tested to IP56; weather-proof plastic enclosure optional
- Approved for use in ANSI and IEC markets
