FT 3120® and 3150® Free Topology Smart Transceivers
The FT 3120® and FT 3150® smart transceivers are previous generation microcontrollers that include a Neuron® 3120 or Neuron 3150 processor and a free topology twisted-pair transceiver in one package. Along with a communications transformer and memory, FT smart transceivers embedded in your device make it part of a peer-to-peer LonWorks® network.
- The FT 3120 smart transceiver is targeted at cost-sensitive, small-size designs that need up to 4kb of networking code.
- The FT 3150 smart transceiver is well suited for larger applications, providing a memory bus to address external memory for expanded application code needs.
- Free-topology technology enables FT 3120/3150 based devices to be wired in any configuration to suit the needs of the application — star, bus/drop, ring, or mixed – to save installation material and time costs.
- Eliminates the number one cause of field failure by allowing installers to wire devices without regard for positive/negative wire matching to connectors.
