LPT-11 Link Power Twisted Pair Transceiver
The LPT-11 Link Power Transceiver provides power and communication over a single twisted-pair wire. Its switching power supply provides regulated +5Vdc to power a Neuron® processor and other electronics. It can be wired with virtually no topology restriction.
- Reduces costs by eliminating the need for local power supplies in each device, saving equipment and labor costs; Compatible with the FTT-10A Free Topology Transceiver and FT 3120®/FT 3150®/FT 5000 Smart Transceivers
- Includes free-topology technology for wiring in any configuration — star, bus/drop, ring, or mixed — to suit the needs of the application; Transformer isolated
- Supplied in a compact single in-line package (SIP) ideal for space-constrained designs
- Polarity insensitivity helps avoid wiring errors; Free topology further reduces the time and expense of system installation
- Ideal for multiple products within building automation systems: HVAC, access, lighting, elevators, and many others; 78 kbps up to distances of 500 meters (free topology), or 2,700 meters with doubly terminated bus (worst case)
