Intuitive Microsoft Visio Interface
The LonMaker tool's graphical environment, based on the Visio interface, makes it easy to design control networks. Visio's SmartShapes drawing feature provides an intuitive way to create devices. A number of smart shapes for LonWorks networks are included; you can create custom shapes as well. LonMark functional profiles are shown as graphical functional blocks within a LonMaker drawing, so it's simple to view and document a control network's logic.

LNS Server
The LonMaker Integration Tool includes an LNS Server. The LNS Server provides a network operating system that allows integrators to better manage, integrate, install, and leverage LonWorks networks. The LNS Server helps ensure an open, sustainable, bidding environment.
Free Credits!
The updated LonMaker Turbo Integration Tool no longer charges a credit when commissioning devices based on the new FT 5000 Smart Transceiver and the Neuron 5000 Processor. For developers transitioning to the LonWorks 2.0 components, LNS Turbo Service Pack 6 eliminates all commissioning charges (LonMaker Credits) for LonWorks devices based on the new LonWorks 2.0 chips. This reduces installation cost and complexity for devices based on the LonWorks 2.0 chips.
