Power Line Transceivers Development Support Kit

The Power Line Smart Transceivers Development Support Kit provides several resources that reduce development time and engineering effort, including circuit reference designs for PL3120®/3150®/3170 power line smart transceivers and binary files for porting your designs to circuit layout tools.

  • Includes eight soft copy reference designs for external discrete interface circuitry that address critical factors such as:
    • Heat dissipation
    • Trace capacitance and crystal oscillation
    • Receive sensitivity and transmit power
  • Reduces design time for products using power line communications for control networking; Supports first-time success of design and implementation
  • Gives design engineers the flexibility to choose a design that suits the application — and a high degree of confidence that components will meet cost and size goals
  • Provides faster and more accurate porting of designs with binary files for supported layout tools including Altium, P-CAD®, OrCAD®, PADS®, and PowerPCB

 

Reference designs include:

  • Bill of materials
  • Schematics in OrCAD and PDF format
  • Layout design files and plots in P-CAD, OrCAD, PADS/PowerPCB, Altium, PDIF, ASCII, and Gerber formats
  • Solutions for various combinations of 2/4 layered and one- or two-sided PCB designs
