401 - LonWorks Device Development
OverviewThis course, for engineers developing their first LonWorks device, focuses extensively on designing devices that meet LonMark interoperability guidelines. You'll practice designing, debugging, and testing new LonWorks devices using the Neuron C programming language and Echelon's device and control network development tools. Course Prerequisites
Course ObjectivesIn this course, you'll design and develop interoperable, configurable LonWorks devices, including:
Laboratory WorkThe course is offered in a state-of-the-art LonWorks classroom containing the latest LonWorks device design tools. Throughout this course you'll participate in extensive laboratory work, case studies, review sessions, and group discussion. You'll develop working LonWorks devices in the hands-on laboratory exercises, culminating in a group network design and installation project. What You'll ReceiveYou'll receive a course manual, a course CD, Neuron C programming guides and product data books. The course manual contains all presented material, labs, exercises, and job aids. We'll also provide lunch and refreshments. At the end of class, you'll get a certificate of completion and a list of the contacts you've made during the session .
