Registration and Confirmation
Q. How do I register for a class?
A. It's easy to register either online or by phone. To register online, go to the Registration page. To register by phone, call the nearest training center.
Q. I registered for a class but haven't received my confirmation yet.
What should I do?
A. You should receive confirmation within 2 business days of submitting
registration and payment information. Contact the training coordinator
at your training facility. The coordinator may be waiting for payment
information or a response to a question.
Course Cancellation and Substitution (See Training Policies)
Q. I can't attend the course I registered for. Can someone else attend in my place?
A. Yes. Please let us know immediately that you can't attend, and give the name of the person who'll take your place.
Make sure you have any amended payment information available, such as purchase order or credit card
information. There's no substitution charge
if you notify us before the first day of class. All attendees
must meet the prerequisites as outlined in the course description.
Q. I can't attend the course I registered for. What's your cancellation policy?
A. If you need to cancel, you must notify us at least
10 business days before the first day of class. If you notify us less than 10 business days before class begins, you'll be billed for the course. See the full cancellation policy.

Q. What happens if Echelon Training cancels a course?
A. If a class is cancelled, we'll notify you 10 business days before the first
day of class, and you'll receive priority registration
for the next offering of the class. If you're concerned about
a course's status, please contact us.

Q. Who teaches Echelon courses?
A. Our courses are taught by Echelon Certified Instructors at both corporate
facilities and Authorized Training Center locations.
Q. How can I become an Echelon Certified Instructor or an Authorized
Training Partner?
A. Contact the training manager at training@echelon.com for more information.
Payments and Discounts
Q. Do you offer a multi-student discount?
A. Yes. Please check the main training page for current promotions.
Q. Do you offer a discount for taking multiple courses?
A. Yes. If you attend two courses in the same week, you're eligible for
a discount.
Q. I don't have my payment information yet. Can I still register for
a class?
A. Yes, but your registration won't be fully processed until you've
submitted payment information. Please contact the training coordinator
if you have questions.
Q. How do I pay for a course?
A. You can pay by credit card, purchase order, or company or personal check.

- We accept American Express, MasterCard, and Visa.
- Include the exact name on the card, the card number, the security code (the 3- or 4-digit number on the back of your card) and the expiration date. - Purchase Order
- Include the company name, student name(s), course name(s), and cost of course(s).
- Provide contact information: first and last name, job title, telephone number, e-mail address, and company address.

Location Facilities and Amenities
Q. What sort of weather should I expect?
A. In San Jose, the weather is generally
mild, but it can be cool in the morning and evening. The average winter temperature is 40 - 60 degrees
Fahrenheit; summer temperatures range from 55 - 85 degrees Fahrenheit. If you plan to
visit San Francisco during your stay, the city can
be 10 - 20 degrees cooler. It's best to bring layered clothing.
For all other locations, please contact the training coordinator at your training facility for current weather conditions.
Q. Are meals provided?
A. We provide a continental breakfast and lunch each day of
class. For a list of restaurants and attractions near the training center,
contact the training coordinator.
Q. What should I wear?
A. Dress is casual. Bring a light jacket or sweater, as
it can get cool in the classroom at times.
Q. What is the smoking policy?
A. Smoking is not permitted indoors, but is allowed outdoors in designated
areas. The receptionist or training coordinator at your training facility
will direct you.
